The second project stage focuses on integration: the process of connecting, interpreting, and normalizing the data from each system. Our proprietary integration engine hc1 Connect allows us to accommodate a wide variety of source systems, transmission protocols and data formats so hc1 can accept customer data as it exists today.
Though every system is different, there are three standard ways we ingest data into hc1:
- Bulk Import: The first data integration option is bulk importing your organization’s contacts, providers, and other well-defined data sets with no PHI included.
- EMR/LIS through hc1 Connect: Our integration engine makes system organization easy by securely accessing EMR, LIS and other systems for clinical and operational data.
- Flat File into hc1 Connect: If a persistent feed isn’t possible (or optimal) hc1 can also import data by utilizing a flat file to populate the database.
Extensible Data Model:
- Dynamic Data Cloud (DDC) : enables you to connect finance, billing, inventory, and other non-HL7 system data to hc1 for analytics
- hc1 Data Specifications
Your Service Delivery Analyst (SDA) will review hc1 data specifcations including core data as well as other record types that can be imported into hc1 such as opportunities, cases, tasks and memos.
